BROOKLYN, NY, home to some of the most famous rap moguls in history, continues to develop innovative talent. Crown Heights, Brooklyn, an area known for housing ground-breaking artists, now presents to you, ETCETERA.
ETCETERA first hit the scene with a string of underground hits, being labeled one of the best underground chart toppers around, not only on his personal projects but in writing and producing for other artists as well.
ETCETERAs work has always been filled with diversity. This was highly displayed with the 2004 hip-hop rock release OH NO which landed him a 3 category ballot running at The 47th Annual Grammy Awards. This added an ongoing chapter to the ETCETERA saga. The success of this artist continued with his music being premiered on TV shows, movie trailers, and along with a host of other public musical appearances. ETCETERA has accomplished hurdles far beyond any expectations.
His newest venture with the TSOB Records family and their marriage to the Federal / Universal Music Group should place ETCETERA in a position of a true mainstream talent. With his collaborations with some of the music industrys newest producers i.e., Young Seph, Twin Beats, JLace Around One Productions all the way to seasoned platinum producer Kwamé, ETCETERA is slated to be one of the hottest mainstream comers to grace hip-hop this decade.

Extra! Extra! Read All About It!
Fresh off the press is the news that the once underground chart topper, writer and producer
is going to have to wait to show the music world what he has.
His third Major Label release entitled “O.M.G. (Throw Ya Handz Up)”
initially scheduled for release on July 14th has now been delayed to August 11th.
The single snippet is available for streaming on the artist’s MySpace page.
His first two singles “Take U There” and “Dance Like That” catapulted him into the mainstream pop/urban culture and now he is back to give you the other side of his talent. The new single “O.M.G. (Throw Ya Handz Up)” is a true hard bass track produced by new-comer Young Seph, with a mixture of sexy strings and pianos that truly lives up to its title. This single is a definite eye and ear opener from a true hip hop artist that has had most of his success on cross-over songs but is now revisiting his foundation.
You can get “O.M.G.” (Throw Ya Handz Up) on August 11, 2009 on iTunes or any of your favorite digital stores and also look out for more hot projects from ETCETERA i.e., videos, features and tour dates. To get a sample of ETCETERA’s projects visit GETMUSIC or www.myspace.com/etc and get the latest on the Brooklyn Boy Wonder. For more about the artist visit www.tsobrecords.com.
